EVS Volunteer Placements in Moldova

NGO "Dynamism, Youth, Diversity" is looking for volunteers to participate in E.V.S. (European Voluntary Service). The placements we have at the moment allow us to host 9 volunteers in different organizations. You can find below short descriptions of the organizations that need volunteers.
• NGO “Association for Charity and Social Assistance ACASA” is supporting a network of organizations in the field of assistance for disabled people and socially and economically vulnerable old people. Also the organization is active in other important fields such as: Organizational development, Expertise and consultancy, Elaboration of common projects etc. The organization is looking for two volunteers.
• NGO “Foundation Angelus Moldova” is an organization that is implementing projects in order to assist terminally ill cancer pacients. The foundation is offering information and consultancy in the domain of palliative care. It also operates a hospice that has 20-30 beneficiaries per month. The organization is looking for one volunteer.
• Youth Friendly Health Center Neovita offers assistance and consultations for youth in many areas: medical assistance, social assistance and psychological assistance. The beneficiaries are: adolescents, young people and young couples, future parents, workers from educational institutions, other youth. The organization is looking for one volunteer.
• NGO “Prietenii Copiilor” (“Friends of Children”) is a non governmental organization founded in 2002 which activates in the domain of protection of children’s rights in Moldova. Since then the organization has become recognized as a promoter of the culture of play for the harmonious development of children. The organization is looking for 4 volunteers.
• The Public Association “Eco-Razeni” is a local non-governmental organization established in 1999 by students from Razeni, a village south of Chisinau, wishing to improve the conditions especially of young people, the prime victims of the economic decline. Eco-Razeni is active in the following areas: facilitating access to information, instructing in the domain of new information technologies, environmental protection and education, and involvement of youth in community life. The organization is looking for one volunteer.
The application takes place for 1st September 2010 deadline which means that the volunteers can start their EVS not earlier than 1st December 2010.
